LE CHOW CHOW

Le Chow Chow is a coffee house and roastery with tropical vibes in downtown Minneapolis. We developed a bold, flexible visual identity anchored by a wide, 19th-century-inspired logotype, designed to hold vibrant tropical patterns that also work in reverse with the logo on top of the pattern. To balance the weight of the name, we paired it with an elegant script for “Le.”

Rather than repeating the logo across applications, the packaging system draws from the identity’s core elements — pattern, color palette, letterforms, and the illustrated chow — allowing them to be recomposed into new, playful arrangements depending on the format and dimensions of the deliverable.
